1. The service

Courseopedia is operated by BlueDuck LLC (blueduck.co), referred to here as "we" or "us". Courseopedia provides AI-generated skill-gap analyses, learning roadmaps, and a directory of third-party online courses. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Guidance, not guarantees

Analyses and roadmaps are AI-generated guidance. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not career counseling, legal, or financial advice. Course data (prices, ratings, availability) comes from third-party providers and can be out of date. Decisions you make based on the service are your own.

3. Third-party courses and affiliate links

Courses are provided by third parties under their own terms and prices. We are not a party to your enrollment. Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you enroll, the provider may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Rankings are computed from learner ratings and enrollment data, not from commissions.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the resumes and job descriptions you submit. You grant us a limited license to process and store them solely to provide the service (see the privacy policy). Only submit content you have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to breach, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security.
• Don't scrape the service at scale or resell its output as your own service.
• Don't submit unlawful content or other people's personal data without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Accounts

You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data via the privacy policy.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free service, is zero).

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
